The Powder Shark is a classic that’s been with us since 2008. This directional powder slayer is an easy one to master and makes for a great ride in a variety of terrain. This powsurfer features a low rise nose, no rocker and a low profile tail. These characteristics lead to a fast ride and allow the deep swallow tail to do it’s job well, making for a stable ride at high speeds and solid hold on turns. The slight kick in the tail is just enough to prevent the tail from “hooking up” on turns making for a much more organic ride than a completely flat tail. Ideal for powder conditions between 5″ (13cm) and 18″ (55cm).

Recommended for US mens boot sizes 9-13 and rider weight from 140-200 lbs in lighter/drier snow and riders up to 230lbs in shallow or dense conditions.

Description

The Powder Shark 3D 140cm Powsurfer is one of our classic shapes that’s been around since 2008 but has received a many tweaks throughout the years. Its rocker profile is much different than all other 140cm lengths with a lower profile nose and tail. Great for riders looking for a purely directional powsurfer with a very stable ride. A low rise nose gives it great float and speed for it’s size. It’s deep swallow tail has a very slight up-kick on the tail to prevent hooking on turns yet adds stability at high speeds and makes for longer more drawn out turns than a pin or rounded tail. No rocker on the Powder Shark so while not as poppy or agile as many other 140cm sticks it has a slightly faster glide. This powsurfer features our 3-Dimensional CDC Base to provide the best possible performance in all conditions. This shape is an easy one to master and a great choice for wide open terrain. Ideal for powder conditions between 5″ (13cm) and 16″ (55cm).
