The Footloose 2 Powsurf Boot is the lightest weight, most comfortable and functional powsurfing boot on the market. The Footloose 2 sports a 360° Free Flexing upper for unrivaled mobility. Impregnated leather and a D-Tex membrane keep feet warm and dry while an all new powsurf specific liner that offers a precise fit and also enhances foothold and mobility. Full laces from toe to top to ensure the best fit and a new repositioned lace system makes for even better heel lock. No foot slipping inside the boot, no heel lift when hiking and extremely comfortable.
The outsole is made from extremely grippy gum rubber and provides excellent traction regardless of the type of traction put on your powsurfer. The ultra-flexible outsole further enhances the board-feel underfoot especially in combination with the 3-dimensional foam traction of the Grassroots Powsurfers. The free-flexing upper of the boot allows for 360° range of motion allowing you precise control while powsurfing. This year there’s an added double lasted toe cap to boost durability while offering additional grip for those looking to ollie and infuse their powsurfing with skate-inspired tricks.

After a decade of powsurfing i have finally found the perfect powsurf boot. These boots are incredibly light and have excellent flex in all directions yet still provide a little bit of support to prevent blown up or sprained ankles from punching thru the snow. The board feel is great due to the thin and flexible sole. I could wear these all day and all night.

After trying the Vans “Standard” for a couple of years I found the Footloose 2. This is a much better boot in my opinion. Much better fit with a proper liner and the lacing goes all the way to the toes to ensure a good fit thru the whole boot, something that the Vans boot lacked and I always had to put a different liner in it. The Deeluxe boots are much more thought out and designed and you can tell they did their homework when making these powsurf boots!

I ummed and ahhed a bit before buying these because the price seems a bit steep, but they’re really good boots and I’m pleased I bought them. I wanted to replace some Vans Standards which were like wearing barges. These are much more refined and the laces work well to keep my heel locked down, even without pulling them tight. They’re warm, waterproof, flexible and grippy. The sole is flat and thin, a lot like skate shoes. I can drive in them with the laces done up (although I wouldn’t want to drive too far). I didn’t give them 5 stars because the volume around the foot is a bit big for me, but they weren’t tailor made to my exact foot, so perhaps that’s harsh. Maybe I’ll get some insoles to fill them up a bit one day, but they’re fine for now.
