Description
The Grassroots Pintail powsurfer 140cm is a great pick for riders looking to dominate tight trees and steep terrain, but it doesn’t stop there. This powsurfer is really easy to learn on and handles conditions down to 4-5″ as well as variable and wind buffed snow. It’s high volume is great for keeping riders afloat in the deep and nearly any size and weight of rider can rip this thing due to the heavy taper and CDC 3-Dimensional base.
Ideal for boot sizes 10 and up, but a smaller footed rider would still have great control in lighter and deeper conditions. We’ve tested this board in everything from knee deep blower powder to just a few inches of snow and it really shined in it’s ability to handle this wide variety in conditions. The pintail powsurfer provides a very agile ride for it’s size while holding onto high speed turns with great stability. A good pick for those who ride in coastal snow conditions and areas with thicker and heavier snow qualities.
Exclusively available with our CDC 3-Dimensional Base Technology that is created in a unique mold tailored to this specific model. This makes for the highest performance in all conditions and the most aggressive and responsive ride possible.
Available in the “Spirit” graphic by Nate Reifke, “Heddy” by Hanna Eddy, “Night Pillows” & “Vision” by Valerie Black or our Black ptex 4000 base. If you are not sure what shape & size will be the best powsurfer for you contact us with information on your boot size, height and where you ride and we are happy to help.
Our Pintail powsurfer 140cm is also available in a 150cm length for an even faster ride and for riders over 190lbs riding in a foot or more new snow. You can ee this board in action, ridden by the best powsurfers in the world in our short film series titled “The Powsurf Chronicles” or of course our instagram page features each board in action unmatched by any other powsurf company.

The Grassroots Pin Tail 140 is my board of choice. It floats like a butterfly in the pow, cuts through the crud and doesn’t get wrecked by the snowmobile ride in. I bring it with me every day out.
