Description
The Megalodon 150cm 3D – Black on Black Powsurfer is one of our deep powder guns, ideal for deep days in open terrain and a great ride in both mellow and steeper slopes. Avery organic and “swimmy” feel with it’s flared swallow tail and an absolutely incredible feeling bottom turn. This board features our CDC 3-Dimensional base technology, giving this board enhanced float, better leverage for bite in your turns, and more precision control. Wide and low profile nose, deep sidecut and a lightly kicked up and flared swallow tail give this board incredible float and planing in the deepest and lightest snow conditions. It’s volume is equal to a 170cm snowboard and it’s tail shape and length make for slower turning edge to edge when compared to the shorter tapered models; resulting in a stable fast ride. This board excels in deeper powder conditions of 7 inches or more but may not be as forgiving as many of the other models when the powder gets below about 5 inches. A great addition to the quiver for the deep blower days, and a good board choice for larger riders.
- • CDC 3-Dimensional Base locks in turns for full control in a variety of snow conditions
- • Low profile nose/tail and slight rocker for maximum float and speed
- • Sintered ptex base for speed, performance, durability & sustainability
- • Handcrafted 3D neoprene infused traction pad for the best board feel & power transfer
- • Extra wide nose & flared swallow tail for excellent follow thru in turns & an unreal feeling bottom turn.
- • Handcrafted in Utah, USA by the most experienced powsurfers on earth.
The “Black on Black” model features our ultra durable and fast ptex 4001 base material and a stained black topsheet that reveals the natural wood grain.

Just tried last sunday your Megalodon and it was awesome.
It was the best free feeling ever on snow. Greetings from Italy.

The megalodon has been my board of choice for many years. While I love to ride as many shapes as I can in the Grassroots line, I seem to gravitate toward this board the most. I appreciate its ability to draw out a long, fast, arching turn, while still being nimble when I ride through trees or have to slam on the brakes. The 150 cm has a lot of float which makes it a weapon in the deep powder.
