Description
The Grassroots Powder Slut 140cm Powsurfer has very playful and surfy feel, making it a top pick in areas with mostly dry snow conditions. It’s reverse sidecut will have this board floating noticeably higher on the snow, adding to that already weightless feel that powsurfing gives you. This board is very agile, yet the turns feel a bit looser than most of our traditional sidecut models. This makes for a unique and incredibly fun ride. A longer, more drawn-out nose and lightly tapered reverse sidecut gives this board it’s surf-like character and maximizes floatation, planing and stomping ability for larger airs. The rounded notch tail allows for incredible agility in technical terrain while still being able to maintain stability at the highest speeds in open terrain. This directional hybrid can be still be ridden backwards with fairly good control, keeping your options open for freestyle riding. The Grassroots Powder Slut 140cm Powsurfer is vailable exclusively with our CDC 3-Dimensional Base.
-Ideal for dry powder conditions of 6″ (15cm) or deeper – See the “Barracuda” or “Slasher” models for best performance in shallower, variable or very wet/thick snow conditions.

Aaron Desrochers –
Super surfy in the deep, handles drops with ease, and wiggles effortlessly through tight trees. The reverse sidecut is very responsive in ideal snow conditions but is more challenging to ride in the variable snow compared to some of the other boards in my quiver.
Duane Nardi –
This board is fast and stable. Still has a surfy feel but it’s quick and responsive in tight terrain. Perfect for a knee deep tree run and some pillow popping.
