Description
The Slasher 140 is one of the most versatile boards in our line. A great all around board that is very easy to learn on but with the help of the new CDC 3-Dimensional Base Technology you can get as aggressive as you would like on it. The elongated nose outline puts more of the width under the weight of the rider allowing for better planing and less drag in the tail. This means better floatation and in turn better edge to edge performance. We’ve taken many of the characteristics from traditional snowboard shape outline and infused tried and true powsurf characteristics and the 3-D base to give this board the surf-like feel that we love so much.
Performs best in 5″ or more soft snow and up to 24″ of light and dry duff. Check out the “Narrow” version of the slasher or the Barracuda models for best performance in shallow and variable conditions.
Recommended width sizing:
“Standard” – US Men’s boot sizes: 9-13 / Weight: 130-230 lbs (200 lbs and up recommended for new snow between 4-9″)
“Narrow” width – US Men’s boot sizes 7-9 / Weight: 100-160 lbs ***Excellent Pick for Female riders***

First off, I would like to comment on your customer service. It is amazing!! I have never found customer service this good in any other company.Your videos on YouTube show the types of terrain I would like to be powsurfing, especially Chronicle 5. Keep up the good work Jeremy!

Just wanted to let you know I am so impressed with my Slasher! The Burton Backseat Driver has nothing on your boards. Not even a comparison.
Went for a tour today and had the powsurfer in the car and saw this amazing powder field down the road and had to stop and take some turns. So good!
Hoping to find some steeper terrain tomorrow to play around in.

YA YA… 2 seasons now my old ball and chain boards just sit in the garage collecting dust. New life for an old surfer land locked in interior AK. Thx Grassroots!

Hello, I just returned from a week at Baldface where we were doing some R&D and a catalog shoot. The conditions were all time which meant as much Powsurfing as we could possibly handle. We had about 4 different Powsurf boards on our cat from a few different brands and my choice after riding all of them was by far the Grassroots boards that were up there. It got to the point where we had to play paper rock scissors to see who got to ride the Grassroots boards!!!
I just wanted to say thanks for making great product.

I finally got the chance to test the board yesterday. I had seen all the Grassroots videos, so I knew the potential. But the big question was: Will I be able to ride it? How hard is it? I`m just a mediocre snowboarder.
But the control was just AMAZING! I wish my snowboard would float like this! And the skate/surf-like feeling was all true! OMG! It took me three runs before I stopped laughing all the way back to the top. Now I constantly look at the mountains to find new lines. The pow surf has opened up a lot of new areas in the mountains that I didn’t` find interesting before.
So, bottom line: I love it! And I think the slasher was a good choice. Hopefully you`ll get some more orders from Romsdalen, Norway in the nearest future!
